Taylor Alison Swift was born on December 13th, 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania. Taylor spent her first years in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania at her parent's Christmas Tree farm. Taylor's interest in music began at the age of 9. She often sang at local talent contests. When she was 11 years old, she sang "The Star Spangled Banner" at a Philadelphia 76ers game. She then moved to Nashville, Tennessee to continue her interest in music. Shortly after moving, Taylor Swift started writing songs and playing guitar and then Dan Dymtrow got Taylor a Development Deal at RCA records. In 2005, Swift caught Scott Borchetta's attention at the Bluebird Cafe. This led to her amazing music career.
